About me

The common thread in my life is that I love dogs. From an early age I have been fascinated by their behavior and how they are able to form such strong bonds with people. This led me to become increasingly involved in the world of training and behavior.

My journey started with my own dogs, first with 3 Beagles and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, now with a Poodle. I have taken numerous obedience courses and became an instructor. But I wanted to do more. I wanted to not only train dogs, but also understand why they behave a certain way and how we can best help them.

That is why I started following various training courses and selected excellent, experienced behavioral therapists. I believe that the broadest possible approach to dog training is essential, which is why I have also delved into people. Understanding human behavior is just as important as understanding dog behavior because the relationship between the two is the key to successful training and lasting behavior change.

As my knowledge grew, so did my approach. What started as a focus on obedience training gradually turned into a passion for behavioral therapy and education. I founded my own company, with the aim of not only helping dogs, but also guiding and coaching their owners.

Like other inspiring trainers, I work with a relationship-oriented approach to training. It's not just about learning tricks or cues, but about building a strong bond based on trust and understanding. My goal is to provide humane, effective and practical solutions for dogs and their owners, whether they are professional working dogs or simply sociable pets.

My work is not just limited to training sessions on the field. There is also an importance of education and information, which is why I am actively involved in sharing my knowledge through workshops, lectures and online courses. I am constantly looking for better ways to understand and train dogs, and I am proud of my contribution to the well-being of dogs and their owners around the world.

I live my passion every day, surrounded by my beloved family and dogs, by giving training sessions or at our Hondwerk daycare in the beautiful landscape of Voerendaal. If you are curious about how I can help you further, please feel free to contact me.
